Yes. The CRUZ seat easily can be reversed to be front or rear facing.
There are five recline positions ranging from upright to fully reclined, decreasing in 12-degree increments.
To adjust the harness straps on the seat you must remove the rectangular Velcro cover on each strap. Under the cover is a square metal clip with a break at the top. Move the strap fabric to the side to see the break. Slide the clip out and move the straps to the desired level.
For daily maintenance and quick/spot clean-ups of life’s messes we recommend BuggyLOVE organic cleaning products available online at www.buggylove.com and at Buy Buy Baby.
For bigger messes remove the canopy and seat fabric from the frame. Keep plastic seat insert inside fabric along with harness belts attached to fabric. For the canopy, remove the metal and plastic frame that run the width of the fabric (you will need a Phillips head screwdriver to remove). Fill your sink or tub with water and 3 to 4 capfuls of BuggyLOVE and hand wash. Hang dry.
For all other UPPAbaby products please see the detailed instructions on the washing label on each item.
Sand and debris can get caught in the joints and contribute to stroller malfunction. Please give your stroller some love periodically by applying BuggyLOVE’s 100% NATURAL STROLLER LUBRICANT on the joints and wheel axle. This will help with your stroller’s performance and life span.

The CRUZ stroller can be easily folded and placed into your vehicle’s trunk. And if you need to pack your stroller for air travel, we recommend the CRUZ TravelBag (sold separately). The TravelBag is made of durable luggage-grade nylon and is designed to fit very snugly around your stroller to provide better protection. The TravelBag also has attached wheels for easy rolling.
Packing the CRUZ stroller into the TravelBag is simple and easy:
1. Release Velcro strap and pull out of plastic loop. Feed through fabric loop and fasten back to itself.
2. Unroll and unzip TravelBag, laying the bag out flat with flap open.
3. IMPORTANT: Rotate yellow support panels at base and attach to Velcro on sidewalls of TravelBag.
4. Fold CRUZ stroller with toddler seat facing forward in second-most upright position. Fold seat footrest to a 90-degree angle.
5. Remove rear wheels. Face wheel posts towards each other and stack so that posts poke through each wheel spoke. Slide into wheel storage bag and fasten top Velcro flap.
6. Place stroller into TravelBag with seat facing upward and handle bar positioned towards top of bag.
7. Place wheel storage bag on top of stroller seat and attach to safety strap of TravelBag. Zip TravelBag closed.
Our TravelSafe Program guarantees your stroller during air travel in the TravelBag. By simply registering this TravelBag online, any damage caused to your stroller during air travel is fully covered by UPPAbaby. This program is offered only with the new TravelBag. Program benefits are contingent upon your stroller being under its original two-year warranty. You must register your stroller and travel bag online here prior to your departure. If you fail to register your stroller, a proof of purchase must be provided in order to make a claim. UPPAbaby cannot replace a stroller if lost by the airline.
You can enhance your stroller with a number of add-on accessories including Cup Holder, Snack Tray and BabyGanoosh Footmuff. Click here to see the CRUZ accessories that are available.
