VISTA FAQ's

Where can I find the Serial Number on my VISTA (2010 models and newer)?

You can find the sticker with barcode below the rear axle of the stroller frame on the left. The Serial Number is a 17-digit number.

For late 2012 VISTA strollers, the Serial Number is a 15-digit number.

What are the differences between the 2012 and 2013 VISTA?

There is no difference between the 2012 and 2013 model of the VISTA. We have added two new colors on silver frames: Ella (Jade) and Taylor (Indigo). These have replaced the Carlin (Green) and Cole (Slate) colorways.

What color options are available for the 2013 VISTA?

Available colors on the silver frame: Lindsey (wheat), Denny (red), Ella (jade), Taylor (indigo).

Available colors on the carbon frame: Jake (black), Mica (silver), Drew (tangerine) available at specialty retailers only, Olivia (fuschia) Buy Buy Baby exclusive.

Please note that each frame has four different color choices. At this time we cannot interchange colors between silver and carbon frames. Not all colors are available at all retailers.

At what age can I begin to use the VISTA for my child? (What is the age limit or weight capacity for the VISTA?)

Bassinet: The VISTA’s bassinet is appropriate for infants from birth to 20 lbs., or until the child is able to lift him or herself up.

Toddler Seat: VISTA toddler seats can be used from birth as well if parents choose and can be used for an infant with the Infant SnugSeat accessory. The VISTA toddler seat is safe for children weighing up to 50 lbs.

What can you tell me about the bassinet?

The bassinet is suitable from birth and has a perforated mattress pad and vented base, which enables the pad to breathe better and makes sleeping more comfortable. The lining is made from all natural cotton and soybean fibers. The canopy also easily unzips and opens for added ventilation.

How do I set up my bassinet?

When you first open your bassinet, you must go underneath the fabric lining and pull the metal bars into the black plastic snaps to lock it into place. The bassinet is self-standing and can be used as a primary sleeper. When the baby is in the bassinet it should be kept on a flat surface, or used with our bassinet stand or stroller frame.

What infant car seat adapters are available for the VISTA?

The VISTA is compatible with Graco (SnugRide, SafeSeat, SnugRide 30, SnugRide 32 and SnugRide 35*), Peg Perego (Primo Viaggio and Primo Viaggio SIP), Chicco (Keyfit and Keyfit 30), and Maxi-Cosi (Mico, Maxi-Cosi Citi, Maxi-Cosi Cabrio and Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix) car seats.

*not compatible with Graco SnugRide ClickConnect 35 or 40

How do I fold my VISTA stroller?

Before you begin, make sure you tilt the cupholder or it could get damaged when folding.

NOTE: When folding frame with seat attached, seat must be in forward facing and upright position.

WARNING: Children and adults should be clear of moving parts while making stroller adjustments. Damage to fingers or extremities may occur when opening or closing the stroller frame.

STEP 1: Activate the brake to prevent stroller from rolling forward while folding.

STEP 2: Place telescoping handle bar in lowest position.

STEP 3: Simultaneously push and hold black plastic tab on left side of stroller in with your left thumb and squeeze the handle height adjustment button with your right hand.

STEP 4: Holding both buttons, push handle bar all the way in firmly until black indication line meets top of plastic collar on right side of handle bar, then push down. You can now release both buttons.

STEP 5: Continue to collapse until locking mechanism engages on right side of stroller. Stroller will stand when folded.

If you still have trouble, please call our customer service department at (781) 413-3030 and we will talk you through it! Please consult your VISTA Manual for detailed photos and instructions.

Do I have to take the seat off to fold my VISTA stroller?

No! The UPPAbaby VISTA can be folded WITH the seat still attached. The seat must be front facing and in the second seat position to fold easily.

Can my child face both directions in his/her VISTA?

Yes. The VISTA seat can be front or rear facing and easily snaps in and out for quick, convenient conversion.

What are the recline angles for the seat positions on the VISTA?

2012-2013 models: There are five recline positions ranging from upright to full 180-degree recline, decreasing in 12-degree increments.

2010-11: Four recline positions (15, 30, 45 and 60 degrees)

2009: Three recline positions (30, 45, and 60 degrees)

How do I adjust the harness straps on my VISTA?

To adjust the harness straps on the seat you must remove the rectangular Velcro cover on each strap. Under the cover is a square metal clip with a break at the top. Move the strap fabric to the side to see the break. Slide the clip out and move the straps to the desired level.

What makes the UPPAbaby VISTA wheels so special?

UPPAbaby borrows from the latest in high performance athletic shoe technology to create all terrain wheels that never go flat. Rubber-coated, EVA foam tires create a unique system that replaces pressurized air with foam to prevent punctures and untimely flats. Now there’s no need to carry a pump and you and your stroller will always be ready to go!

What are the fabrics used on the VISTA?

1680 Polyester and 600D Nylon fabrics are used for the VISTA toddler seat and bassinet. The bassinet is lined with an all-natural blend of cotton and soybean fiber.

How do I wash/clean the fabrics on my VISTA?

For daily maintenance and quick/spot clean-ups of life’s messes we recommend BuggyLOVE organic cleaning products available online at www.buggylove.com, select specialty retailers and at Buy Buy Baby.

For bigger messes remove the canopy and seat fabric from the frame. Keep plastic seat insert inside fabric along with harness belts attached to fabric. For the canopy, remove the metal and plastic frame that run the width of the fabric (you will need a Phillips head screwdriver to remove). Fill your sink or tub with water and 3 to 4 capfuls of BuggyLOVE and hand wash. Hang dry.

For all other UPPAbaby products please see the detailed instructions on the washing label on each item.

What is the best way to care for my UPPAbaby stroller?

Sand and debris can get caught in the joints and contribute to stroller malfunction. Please give your stroller some love periodically by applying BuggyLOVE’s WheelLOVE on the joints and wheel axle. This will help with your stroller’s performance and life span.

Does the VISTA come with a cup holder?

No, the VISTA/CRUZ Cup Holder is a separate accessory that will fit on all VISTAs with a born on date of September 2007 or later. The VISTA Cup Holder is available for purchase at our retailers or on the UPPAbaby website.

G-Series FAQ's

Where can I find the Serial Number on my G-LUXE or G-LiTE?

The Serial Number, with barcode, is located on a sticker on the lower left of the stroller frame. For late 2012 G-LUXE or G-LiTE strollers, the Serial Number is a 15-digit number.

How do I open and close the G-LUXE/G-LiTE?

Opening the stroller: First, tilt the stroller back on its rear wheels. Unhook the latch found on the left side of the stroller and allow the front wheels to fall forward. It is very important to use your upper arm strength and pull up on the handlebars while your foot is resting on the foot pedal. (Just pressing on the foot pedal will not do the trick.)

Before you place your child in the seat please make certain that the small rectangular silver tabs pop out of the lower part of the frame to ensure that the stroller will remain locked in the open position.

Closing the stroller: To fold the stroller, engage the gray button plastic collar found below the right handle. Once engaged, simultaneously use your middle fingers to pull the grey triggers towards you releasing the lock system. Pull up the front wheels towards the handlebar and into a standing position. Ensure the latch locks into place. The stroller will conveniently stand upright. (Note: Do not push the handlebar forward to close as this may bend the stand.)

What colors are available for the G-LUXE and G-LiTE?

The G-LUXE is available in: Denny (red), Ani (orange), Makena (magenta), Sebby (teal) – on a silver frame.

New for 2013, the Jake (black) is updated on a black frame
The G-LiTE is available in: Denny (red), Ella (Jade), Jake (black) on a silver frame.

What are the age and weight limits for the G-LUXE and G-LiTE strollers?

The G-LUXE stroller is suitable for babies from three months up to 55 lbs.

The G-LiTE stroller is suitable for babies from six months up to 55 lbs. The reason that the suitable age for the G-LUXE is younger than the G-LiTE is because the G-LUXE can recline to accommodate a baby who cannot yet sit up on his own.

What is the difference between the G-LUXE and G-LiTE?

The main difference between the G-LUXE and G-LiTE is that the G-LUXE has a reclining seat (ranging from 100 degrees upright to 130 degrees recline) and an adjustable footrest. The G-LiTE is a more compact and lightweight stroller. The G-LUXE is one of the lightest full-size umbrella strollers with recline.

What are the G-LUXE and G-LiTE weights and dimensions?
