To offer more context: while we do source our manufacturing overseas, we are a company with small-town roots, proudly headquartered just south of Boston. We design, develop, service, and operate our business locally — by parents, for parents. Every product decision we make is grounded in real-life experience and a deep commitment to quality, safety, and thoughtful design.​

Please know that we’ve made every effort behind the scenes to absorb as much of the cost as possible, but some price increases are unfortunately unavoidable. We took on much of the early impact ourselves, shouldering tariff-related costs to delay price changes and minimize disruption for our customers, choosing to manage the initial financial impact internally rather than raising prices multiple times. Still, we know this isn’t easy news, especially at a time when every dollar matters. So, here’s everything you need to know, straight from us:

What Happens Now That Tariffs Are Temporarily Reduced?

• Recent adjustments to tariff policy have introduced a temporary reduction in rates. While this is a positive step, the reality remains complex. Although tariffs have declined from a peak of 145%, the current rate of 30% remains substantially higher than pre-tariff levels and continues to place significant financial strain on businesses like ours.
• As a family-founded brand deeply committed to safety, quality, and transparency, we approach pricing decisions with care and responsibility. We are still actively managing the long-term impact of these increases. While there may be expectations for price adjustments, the current environment does not yet allow for sustainable reductions.
• We are continuing to navigate:
  • Carryover costs from the high-tariff period
  • Increased expenses in freight, warehousing, and logistics
  • Internal operational adjustments made to maintain long-term stability

How Are Tariffs Affecting Product Availability?
