Cleaning Instructions

• Clean frame with a damp cloth and a mild detergent; dry thoroughly. DO NOT use abrasives.
• If the stroller chassis parts have been exposed to salt water we recommend that they be rinsed with fresh (tap) water as soon as possible to avoid corrosion. Always dry frame if wet.
• All fabrics are washable.
• Spot clean or hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Dry flat and away from direct sunlight before re-use or storage. DO NOT bleach, iron or dry clean.
• To extend the life of your stroller’s fabric, keep it clean and do not leave it in direct sunlight for long periods of time.
• DO NOT fold or store your stroller if it is damp or wet, nor store it in a damp environment.

• Strollers require regular user maintenance. Regularly check all connecting hardware (rivets, screws, etc.) for tightness and security.
• Inspect your stroller periodically. Seek prompt repairs, replacing worn or broken parts as needed. Check all safety devices, locks and harnesses for correct and secure operation. Never continue to use a product that is structurally unsound.
• Only UPPAbaby replacement parts should be used. It may be unsafe to use parts supplied by another manufacturer.

Fabrics + Leather

• Outer bassinet, canopy, and bumper bar
• Spot clean with a damp cloth. Do not wet excessively.
• Do not dry clean, iron, or bleach.

Frame + Plastic

• Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent and then dry thoroughly.
• Do not use abrasives because they may scratch your stroller frame.

Seat Pad, Infant Inserts, Buckle Pads, and Shoulder Pads:

• Machine wash in warm water on gentle cycle with mild detergent
• Do not bleach
• Dry flat and away from direct sunlight before re-use or storage
• Do not iron or dry clean

Harness + Canopy:

• Spot clean or hand wash using warm water with mild detergent
• Air dry completely before re-use or storage
• Dry flat and away from direct sunlight before re-use or storage
• Do not dry clean, iron, or bleach

Plastic parts:

• Spot clean or hand wash using warm water with mild soap to scrub the harness
• Towel dry completely before re-use or storage
• Do not dry clean, iron, or bleach
• Buckle + Lower Anchor Hardware:
• Buckle should fasten with a “click” if not, rinse under warm running water

• Machine wash fabrics in warm water on gentle cycle with mild detergent and tumble dry low. DO NOT bleach. Fabrics include seat and headrest covers, harness covers, comfort inlay and crotch buckle cover.
• Do not iron or dry clean fabrics.
• Secure all hook and loop fasteners before laundering.
• Spot clean harness webbing using warm water with mild detergent. DO NOT bleach. Air dry completely before re-use.
• Spot clean plastic using warm water with mild detergent.

• Machine wash the Knox seat fabric on gentle cycle.
• The seat base fabric can be removed for easy cleaning.
• The fit inlay cover is removable and can be machine washed on the gentle cycle.
• Lay all fabrics flat to dry.
• We recommend spot cleaning the upper body fabric whenever possible.

• Machine wash the Alta seat fabrics on the gentle cycle.
• The seat base fabric conveniently zips off for easy cleaning.
• Lay all fabrics flat to dry.
• We recommend spot cleaning the upper body fabric whenever possible.

Alta lap belt positioner webbing:

• Spot clean or hand wash in warm water with mild soap and water to scrub the harness. Do not dry clean, iron or bleach.

Buckle + Lower Anchor Connectors

• Rinse with warm water. Do not soak or use soap, detergents, solvents, or lubricants. Towel dry completely before re-use or storage.

• Seat, Footrest, and Legs: Wipe seat, footrest, and legs clean with a damp cloth.
• Tray: The tray is dishwasher safe (top rack only with tray top facing down). If hand washing, lay flat to dry with tray top facing down or stand the tray upright with drain holes down.
• Harness: Hand wash or machine wash the harness with cold gentle cycle in a garment bag (do not bleach). Lay flat to dry.
• To remove harness for machine washing, unbuckle then remove shoulder straps by pushing in the lock feature on the back of the seat while pulling the straps through the front of the seat.
• Slide the plastic buckles off the waist straps and pull straps through the slots in the back of the chair. Remove the crotch strap by threading through the slot on the base of the seat.

• Frame and Wood: Wipe frame and wood clean with a damp cloth or non-corrosive cleaner.
• Fabric: Seat fabrics are machine washable with cold gentle cycle with mild detergent (do not bleach, iron, or dry clean). Tumble dry low.
• To remove fabric for cleaning, unsnap the 4 lower snaps and pull the fabrics off the frame.

• Mattress Pad: The mattress pad is machine washable.
• Undo 4 hook and loop openings on the 1 long side of the mattress.
• Slide-out 4 panels from inside the mesh mattress pad (these panels can be wiped clean separately).
• Secure all hook and loop fasteners of air mesh mattress pad fabric back together once the panels are removed.
• Machine wash air mesh mattress pad fabric with cold gentle cycle, mild detergent, tumble dry low (do not bleach, iron, or dry clean).
• Fabric: The playard and bassinet fabric are spot clean only (do not bleach, iron, or dry clean).

• To remove seat fabric, remove toy bar. Undo 4 hook and loop flaps around side rails, then undo 4 snaps securing fabric to top and bottom of frame. Unzip fabric from side rails to remove.
• Toys: Toy fabric is spot clean only with mild detergent (do not bleach, iron, or dry clean). Dry flat, away from direct sunlight before re-use or storage.

• Frame: Clean frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasives.
• If the frame part has been exposed to salt water, cleaning with fresh (tap) water is recommended as soon as possible to avoid corrosion. Always dry Soma if wet.
• Bassinet and Storage Basket Fabrics: Spot clean only (do not bleach, iron, or dry clean). Dry away from direct sunlight before re-use or storage.
• Mattress: Machine wash cold gentle or hand wash in cold water with mild detergent (do not bleach, iron, or dry clean). Dry flat away from direct sunlight before re-use or storage.
• Sheet: Machine wash cold (do not bleach, iron, or dry clean). Tumble dry low.
