Navigate Your Family’s Growth and Change with The UPPAbaby® Vista® V2

Despite what it may feel like at times, no one welcomes a baby with it all figured out. And while you’d hope the first child teaches all you need to know, the second arrives with their own bag of surprises.

When I was preparing for my first, the registry process was exciting. Oh, and simple. For a start, I didn’t have any children running around, so there was plenty of time to search through best-of lists and helpful Reddit threads. It was also fun to imagine my new life full of new products that would ultimately help shape my budding motherhood. I was able to decide what was important to me —and functional style was at the top of my list.

Currently, I’m preparing for my second child. So you can find me knee deep in basement bins, scavenging for any usable baby good. “Where’s the expiration date on this car seat? 0-3 baby buntings work for a summer baby, right? Where in the world is that wipe warmer? Diapers…need so. many. diapers. ”

Through all the trials and tribulations of my first, I did come to a certain realization when it comes to parenting. One I would etch in stone if anyone still did that.

I will never compromise on my children’s stroller.

What Makes A Great Stroller?

The right stroller does more than expected. First, it should give you the freedom to explore with your baby and keep up with the rest of your family (that seems to have lost all sense of “wait up!”). Even if you’re not a city commuter or trail seeker, every parent needs something that runs smoothly on sidewalks and offroad, uphill and downhill, and everywhere in between. A smooth ride isn’t just important for ease of use, but also for your baby’s comfort. Second, adaptability should be non-negotiable. Newborns have different needs than older babies, who have different preferences than toddlers. And when planning to have more than one, you’ll want to consider something that can convert to hold all your kiddos.

And don’t skimp on the style. A stroller that is both functional and fashionable can boost your confidence as you navigate being a first time parent, or adjust to wrangling a whole herd of little ones. In my own search for a stroller, I wanted something that looked nice, put together, modern, and ready for anything. Just like me, right?
